Melany Remitz

Melany's passions include healing, alternative therapies, and enriching the lives of others. She loves to travel, spend time with her loved ones, and meet new people. Melany attended Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While attending college, she managed two Women’s only Fitness Centers and worked under the Chief Medical Examiner of La Crosse county as Deputy Medical Examiner. Her focus while working for the Medical Examiner was crime scene investigation, and forensics.

She has worked in all areas of nursing ranging from ER, Forensics, Home Health/Hospice, Maternal and Child Health, Public and Tribal Health. She worked for a major insurance company providing coordination of care, health education and case management services. Throughout all her years in the healthcare field, she had always envisioned herself owning her own business. Her model is to include health teaching, holistic nursing, and alternative therapies. In January 2017 she collaborated with her husband and Cryofit to pursue her dream of being her own boss and inspiring others to take control of their mind, body & physical health, on their terms, vs the terms of HMO’s, and western medicine. Although she values and supports these entities, her vision expands outside of the Medical Doctor office. Melany looks forward to moving towards this exciting new path, and meeting more great people!

Whole Body Cryotherapy is the exposure of a person’s skin to temperatures of -150 to -170 degrees Celsius (-238 to -274 degrees Fahrenheit) for a short time (3 minutes or less). At this extreme temperature, the body activates several mechanisms that have significant long-term benefits, including improving the function of the immune system and has been known to decrease stress levels.

Personalized Vitamin Mixtures and Therapy Treatment

Melany discusses her reasons for joining CryoFit and her hopes for her future patients. She details the number and types of staff they have on hand and how they vet each of the vitamins they use in their therapies. Vitamin mixtures are personalized for each patient based on what effects they need along with other therapy services such as cryotherapy or infrared saunas. CryoFit is seeking to expand their locations to reach more people in the area.

Before my session, I felt pain and soreness. Afterward, I enjoyed the feeling of having less pain. I had great sleep that night and felt relaxed.

Melanie is so knowledgeable and welcoming. In fact all of her staff that I’ve met have been! You can tell they know what they are doing / talking about. Highly recommend. This is one of those places that you come back to because you love the treatment and the energy of the people putting their heart into the place. I hope they open up a center in the city some day ☺️

Since I moved to Arizona, I have suffered from nightly allergic asthma attacks from February-June unless I took a daily anti-histamine. I tried multiple natural treatments in the past, such as herbs, acupuncture and enzymatic therapy, without any beneficial results. The regular anti-histamine use left me feeling groggy and fatigued. I nebulized an amniotic allograft from BioLabs in January 2019 and I have not had a single allergic asthma attack during this allergy season. This has been a life-changing treatment for me. There were numerous occasions where I thought I would have to leave Arizona because I couldn’t enjoy being outside for several months of the year. This year I was able to hike to my heart’s content, without any fear of worsening my allergic symptoms. This treatment has incredible potential for improving respiratory health, and I would encourage those suffering from respiratory conditions (other than cancer) to discuss it with their physician.
